The house sits in it's own large, secluded garden within a conservation area, surrounded by fields and woods. There are lawns for al fresco dining, sunbathing, croquet, whatever takes your fancy. It has a sandy bottomed seasonal stream, a little field and a natural wetland to explore. A path leads through the garden down to what's left of the ancient little bridge, and beyond it, the adventurous can strike out across the fields for a ramble. There is parking for several cars, with plenty of room left to play boules. The air is filled with the sound of the many birds, the buzzing of the Breton bees and the trickling of the stream, and at night you can see every star in the sky.
